Beautiful classic Sydney ketch in excellent condition in CHURCH POINT, New South Wales for sale

"Blue Peter" was designed by the famous Sydney yacht designer, Peel and was built at the Lucas Boatyard in Gladesville, Sydney. Originally built as a racing sloop, she was converted to ketch rigged cutter in 1979 and was extensively refitted below in Australian cedar and a fully enclosed head added.
The hull is all original New Zealand single length kauri on laminated spotty gum frames with 6 inch centres. All in excellent condition.
The rigging which is checked annually is stainless steel and the masts of Oregon were removed and rebuilt in 2010.
The galley has metho s/s cooker with grill and large built in ice box.
Two separate stainless water tanks supply the galley and the head shower and sink.
The saloon has a beautiful Australian cedar drop leaf dining table that will seat four comfortably or six with a squeeze!
The saloon has full standing headroom.
The main sleeping cabin is in the foc'sl and is a V berth with opening hatch to deck easy access to the head and saloon.
The living area has one quarter berth and an adult berth and child berth in the saloon.
The engine is a very reliable twin cylinder Yanmar diesel giving about 6 knots.
The boat has a large cockpit seating 6 / 8 people with a built in lazarrette ice box with stern guardrail seats in addition. Gas barbecue .
A hand professional timber dodger/ doghouse was fitted last year and afford great all weather protection.
